God doesn't need an interpreter

In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. (Isaiah 30:15)

Do you ever feel the need to explain God's words to someone else or even try to figure them out for yourself and do your attempts fall short or even confuse the situation all the more? Maybe it is not meant for us to try and explain things. Maybe instead we should just make God present in our lives and leave the explaining up to Him. He will explain to each of our hearts the message He wants us to hear. He can do is own work, don't stand in God's way. Lead but don't stick around to explain, God doesn't need an interpreter.

  1. I think we almost need to share what we learn though because I wish someone would have "interpretted" the word to Hitler instead of him taking what he wanted to hear out of the word & running with it...

I do think God speaks individual messages to what we need to hear, so think that's WAY cool to hear how God does that... so when a time comes, I can understand things better in a circumstance.

But you are right - sometimes, we just have to see what God alone has to speak to us & not let others influence us...

a time for everything - right?

  2. Yes...I agree. To many times we try to "interpretted" the Word of God which gets us into BIG trouble. What we fail to understand is that our Holy God is not a God of confusion, so it is wise to let God interprette His Word to us through the Spirt of Truth. That means when we come across a difficult passage in the Bible, let scripture interprette scripture. God bless, Lloyd
