There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works as God did from his. (Hebrews 4:9-10)
Rest something most of us put on the bottom of our list of things to do, for a time when that list is empty. However, Jesus rested, He went off on His own away from the people, he prayed and rested. God rested, after six days of the hard work of creating the world then He took a day off and rested, enjoyed the glory of His creation. Follow His example, take a day to rest, to be silent, to listen and share with God. He's waiting for you.
